Design your information technology strategy
Building on and enhancing your business strategy
Once we have worked together to plan your information technology strategy, we will have a better understanding of your business goals, processes, and current brand. We can then begin designing solutions that compliment that strategy.
In this step, we start talking specifics which will vary depending on what type of solution will best fit your needs.
- If you need a website, we will discuss look, feel, and functional requirements
- If your website is to be customer-facing, we will discuss how the site will integrate with your other marketing efforts and how to draw traffic
- If your website is an internal or partner-facing website, we will discuss business processes, work flows, and possibly user training development
- If your website requires web hosting, we will discuss with you web hosting costs, options, and technology support requirements
We complete this task with you by building iterative design proofs to cement the look and feel of your solution. Once you are satisfied that the solution's design meets your needs and is strongly tied to your other marketing messages, we are ready to develop your site.
Case Study: Paddle Creek, NC
Chuck wanted to keep his site's existing appearance since his existing customers were familiar with it. Since Chuck already had an existing site and an existing web hosting provider, we recommended that his Content Management System use the open source Joomla CMS, because it was provided freely by his hosting provider.
The design phase, therefore, consisted of creating a more search engine friendly version of his site's existing appearance that would integrate with Joomla.
